CDSB, Children's Services Program!
Under the Child Care and Early Years Act, the Cochrane District Services Board, Children’s Services Department manages the funding for the provision of a variety of programs, including:

- FEE SUBSIDY
- SPECIAL NEEDS RESOURCING
- FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRES (EarlyON Child & Family Centres /BEST START HUBS)
- WAGE ENHANCEMENT
- GENERAL OPERATING GRANT
- CAPACITY BUILDING
- TRANSFORMATION
- REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
- CHILDCARE PLANNING
- INVESTING IN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES PROGRAM
The CDSB currently has a service agreement with 16 agencies that provide a variety of services within the District including licensed child care, private home child care, special needs resourcing, before and after school recreation programs, and EarlyON Child & Family Centre programs. In addition the CDSB directly operates the Northern Treasures Licensed Home Child Care program.
We are the service system manager for Early Years within the District!
