Housing Services

FAQs

The wait depends on several factors including bedroom size, building selection, rent geared-to-income or market rent unit, priority applications and vacancy rate.

It is important to keep your application active and notify us if you address or contact information changes.

Applicants can be assigned an urgent status under the following 3 categories:

  1. SPP Victims of Domestic Violence
  2. Local Urgent Priority
  3. Urgent Medical Status
  4. Homeless Status

If you qualify for any of those special statuses, your application will be assigned priority to those on the regular waitlist.

Applicants who have been assigned urgent status are still required to wait until an applicable unit size becomes available. There is no set time frame available.

If you are currently active on the waitlist, please contact Stephanie at 705-268-7722 x 217 to update your housing application.
