Applications are open for the Community Reinvestment Fund through the Investing in Families and Children Program. Funds through this program are used to support programs that:
- Child/Day Care – Support low-income working families to gain access to supports or have child care costs reduced.
- Early Childhood Services and Children-At-Risk Services – Support early intervention programs to help give children a healthy start in life, including nutritional programs, prenatal screening programs, recreational programs and community programs for youth.
- Supplementary Health Benefits – Provide low-income families with additional benefits for their children outside of the social assistance system.
- Other – Support low-income families that provide tools for families to succeed and break the cycle of poverty.
Funding Criteria:
Funds must be invested in new or enhanced programs, benefits and/or services which help prevent and reduce the depth of child poverty and to promote attachment to the labour force.
Application Deadline:
Organizations interested in applying must submit the completed Investing in Families and Children Program (IFCP) – Community Reinvestment Fund Application by October 29th, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
