Organizations in the Cochrane District are invited to apply for the Community Reinvestment Fund through the Investing in Families and Children Program (IFCP).
Eligible applications will support initiatives that:
- Child Care – Help low-income working families access supports or reduce child care costs
- Early Childhood Services & Children At-Risk – Support early intervention, nutrition, prenatal screening, recreation, and youth programming
- Supplementary Health Benefits – Provide additional benefits for children outside of the social assistance program
- Other – Support low-income families with tools to succeed and break the cycle of poverty
Funds must be invested in new or enhanced programs, benefits, and/or services that help prevent and reduce child poverty and promote attachment to the labour force.
