Summer Students

The Cochrane District Services Board is now accepting applications for the following positions for students who are registered to return to secondary or post-secondary studies in September 2025.

  • Office Administration (Community Development & Services, Finance)
  • Housing Services – Maintenance
  • Emergency Vehicle Technician (Paramedic Services)

Office Administration:

Salary Rate: $18.99 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 4293 CBA
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Location: Timmins, ON
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks

Housing Maintenance:

Salary Rate: $18.99 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 4293 CBA
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Location: Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, and Hearst
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks

Emergency Vehicle Technician:

Salary Rate: $20.03 + 4% vacation pay, as per CUPE Local 1484 CBA
Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)
Location: Timmins, ON
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
